Help with TURBOTAX!

I bought the software and I can not install the **** thing. It stops responding when it reaches the "Adding necessary font files" screen during installation. I went to intuit help and support site and follow their instructions to "solve" the problem but still have the same problem. Did anybody installed TurboTax 2003 succesfully? Worse case scenario, any other good tax software recommendation?
I never had any problems with TurboTax and I used it for the past five + years. This is the first time I had problems ( and may be the last time). Their help and support is non-existant, as far as I am concerned...
