Letter to Grandpa

Dear Grandpa-

DON'T you all worry about Rex. Me gave him to a nice farm family. Now he'll be able to run and jump and play outside all day long.
I know you all loved Rex, but it just wasn't fair on him to keep him cooped up here in this tiny little house. Rex needed somewhere where he could run around. I explained to Rex that we all loved him very much, but this was better than everyone, especially him.
Rex's new owners, the MacGregors, will love him just as much as we did. They promise to get him his favourite food every day. We even gave them his favourite toy! As we drove away, Rex was barking and chasing a rabbit. He was so happy! We took some pictures but we accidentally dropped the camera in the beautiful stream that runs through the middle of the farm.
Rex is happier now. Now he can make lots more animal friends!

Love,
Your Grandson

The Guy,

I read your sig and noticed the '98 F-350 you have listed. Is it a Super Duty, or is it the older bodystyle?

I ask 'cause the old bodystyle was discontinued in '97, and the first SuperDuty was actually considered to be the 1999 model year. The truck may have been built in '98, but there isn't a '98 model year F-350. There was a '98 F-250, but that was the same super-light-duty model as the F-150...

Just thought I'd let you know

The Warden- I think it is a 1998 Superduty new body style because it is a company car that was brand new when I started my job in September of 1998. I will check my registration!

Yeah, sounds like an early '99 Super Duty.

Check out www.thedieselstop.com (if yours isn't a PSD, they do have a g@$$er forum as well). I'm a regular over there too; it's a great site!

The Guy,

I had you confused with another member. There is another member "That Guy" who is from Washington DC. Just thought to warn you that there could be more cases of mistaken identity...

I have contacted the Webmaster

I have contacted the Webmaster to have him look into this. THE GUY and CJ (me) are clearly not the same peron and my private messages should not have anyone else name on them except for mine.

ATTN MODERATOR!

Can you please confirm that CJ & THE GUY are in fact two different members? It has been rumored that CJ & THE GUY are both the same person.

Thanks!

CJ and "The Guy" consistently post from two different computers and they are probably geographically separate although they use the same broadband ISP in the same state.

If Tank can forward me the offending email I would be able to tell you more about what might have happened.

Okay, nobody was offended. It was Tank that brought up this issue. The email I am referring to is the email notifying Tank that he had a message from "The Guy" except that when he went to his PM's it was a message from you.

The only way this happens is when you check your email and one of your personas has a message. you don't look who it's too, you just click on the link. When you do that, it sends you to the PM mailbox of whatever persona you are logged in as on MercedesShop at that moment, and you'll see a completely different message from someone else. Trust me, it never happened to me until I was logged on as someone else. This is the only way that this can happen.
