On the drive over to Arizona I had a semi toss a couple rocks at me. The 560 took two hits, one dead center in the windshield, the other in direct line with the driver .

I had the day off so I took a cruise to Chandler, AZ, milled around the MB Dealer there and checked on the price of new glass. Then I went by the insurance company, and true to form they balked at "dealer" glass. Thanks to the search function here I was able to determine several OEM brands of glass before calling the windshield installers used by the local agent.

Had a nice long chat with the company and found they use only OEM glass AND new clips if the installation calls for them. They will be installing either Sigla or Sekurit (sp) glass tomorrow, all I have to do is stop by the dealer and get another MB decal for the passenger side.

For Sixto: I will watch closely and ask questions, hopefully find the secret for getting the chrome strip to lay correct across the top of the windshield.
