I was going to post a closeup of el presidente's baseball cap but, alas, the MBAutowerks logo is not readable even in the original pic. I guess I'll have to upgrade to a 5MP camera.

In spite of the rain, I managed to take over 180 pictures throughout the weekend. So I obviously cannot post them all. Here's a shot of a beautiful 540K that was unfortunately damaged. I didn't hear the story, but I asume it got hit during the rush to get the cars displayed in tents, ballroom, parking garage, etc.

Word is that car "found" a palm tree that morning. Evidently, due to the rain, etc. the windshield was fogged up. I guess those classic cars had nothing in the way of defrosters back then.

Bad visibility + narrow path = expensive morning :(

My understanding is that the owner was not driving the car, but was on scene as the vehicle was being moved. Reportedly, the owner took this unfortunate occurrence in stride :)
