POSTED BY TOOTER : eBay misadventure

Because of a glich in the system is original post was deleted by me..........

eBay misadventure
On 12 March, I was elated in that I thought I had "won" the Mercedes servo for an inflated price of $119.50 - Over the preceding 7 days, it was a fast and furious auction.

On 13 Mar , I paid, using PayPal, very easy, no problems

a few days later, I began to ask the seller for time and mode of shipment, but was not given a straight answer.
About 10 days later, the seller all but admitted to making mistakes, but now all was ok.
On 1 April , instead of receiving the servo, I opened a box containing seat belts ! The same day I sent an eMail requesting a refund - which was ignored. The next day, another eMail - bit stronger language, and this time a response..

In so many words, as I had complained about the slow delivery, the seller has apparently decided to do nothing.
On 12 April, I will file a fraud claim with eBay.

So, I guess someone out there, has a $$$ ACC Servo they do not need and some one will never receive their seat belts. This snafu caused by the seller trusting his "girl friend" to send out the merchandise to the right buyers-possible that she does not know a belt from a servo, or an engine from an egg !!!
