I knew it! The w140 hoodstars are "bigger"
The three spokes on the w140 are more "chunkier" and better looking than other Benz model hoodstars. It makes my w126 star look skinny and sortive fake.
Is there anyway I can put a w140 hoodstar on my w126? How come they made it different? W140 Star:

shucks theys all looking purty wimpy compared to 115 star wit it's fake radiator cap.........

W126 had hood stars mounted on the Chrome Grill. W140 cars had hood stars mounted on the actual hood. I don't think you can exchange them.
