Thumbs down Rush Limbaugh

I thought it was bad when they hired Dennis Miller to be a commentator on Football. Now ESPN hired the ultimate d*che bag... Rush Limbaugh. Talk about a man with no class and a hot-headed moron. Apparently he made a comment that Donovan McNabb was overrated not because of his playing ability, but because he was black and he's getting media attention because of it. If I were ESPN, I would have fired him... no one needs to hear an oppinion that has nothing to do with McNabb's playing abilities. He could have said he was overrated for his recent performance... but he goes on to talk about the color of the skin being the factor he's overrated. I never felt sorry for that idiot that God punished him with deafness... it would actually have been better if it was muteness. Then in that case.. he wouldn't be able to share his ultra-conservate, almost Nazi-like oppinions with the simpletons that listen to him.

Stick with SPORTS Rush! Its NOT your show show on ESPN!

I had to vent about this moron. Aaaahhhhh.. much better now

Geeez.

I had a chuckle reading your post. It's always funny to me how liberals, (I'm assuming you are one), accuse conservatives of being mean spirited and uncaring. However, as your post made clear, it's they (liberals) who level the mean spirited attack. Wishing someone would loose their hearing and ability to speak, because you don't agree with what they say? I hope you didn't realy mean that.

I'd have to ask you, how much time have you spent listening to Rush? My guess is, not much, because if you had, you'd know he's never a hothead or dis-repectful to callers. Even those who oppose his views. In fact, he welcomes callers with opposing views to call in.

Before I actually listened to Rush, I thought he was an egotistical blow hard. A friend of mine challenged me to actually listen to him for a month. I travel a great deal, so I had nothing else to do while driving around Texas. So I did listen. I couldn't believe anyone could be interesting enough to hold my short attention span. However, I really found his show interesting. I found that I agreed with his ideas about 70% of the time and that's still true.

However, I found someone who had a voice that was contrary to the popular media, but meshed with many of my ideals. Even if you disagree with everything he says, you've got to admit, someone who can keep an audience three hours a day, five days a week is pretty amazing. The other reason I'm sure you never listen to Rush is that if you did, you'd know he's a rabid sports fan, especially football and golf.

I'm assuming also that you're fairly young as you said you were still in school. That's fine, in fact I'm glad you have an opinion, even though it's different from mine. There's an old saying, "if you're not a liberal before age 30, you don't have a heart. If you're not a consrvative after 30, you don't have any sence".

Just had a thought. I think Rush did this on purpose. He knows exactly what he is saying at all times. All of the political correct stuff is rediculous anyway. I think he is sharp/smart/manipulative enough to pull it off.

so, does ANYONE dissagree, that :
A) the NFL for years attacked re lack of black coaches and QBs actually DOES NOT want to exaggerate exploits the successful ones, and B) does anyone REALLY believe that McNabb is the greatest QB Eagles ever had?? I tell you, he begins to look more and more like Cunnigham. A happen to agree with Rush's statement, that McNabb is overrated to an extreme. His anti-affirmative action agenda notwithstanding.

So, I assume that ANYONE critisizing McNabb is now a racist? wait, does that mean I am.... EDIT! EDIT!!!!!!

Mr. Bill.. I am no more liberal than conservative with certain issues. So don't be going ahead accusing me of being a blow-hard liberal.

I don't understand why people listen to Limbaugh.. probably the same reason people listen to Howard Stern and that is to see what else the !%@$#% got to say.

Snibble- same reason people did and (astoundingly) still listen to the Clintons. Apparently, both say things that a lot of americans want to listen to. I often disagree with Rush, but I almost always disagree with the left. Not because of my "communist" experience, but because democrats act in my worst interest. Blah, blah, blah....

I can see why you hate the way Rush generalizes things

Hold on there Snibble. I didn't accuse you of being a "blow hard liberal". I said I "assumed" you were one...big difference. The way you jumped (incorrectly) to conclusions makes it clear you have your mind made up before you are presented an opposing view. If I offended you by my assumption, I am sorry...my mistake.

Tell me though, how many times have you listened to Rush? Since you say you're neither liberal or conservative on various issues, you might be surprised if you actually tuned in. I challenge, no dare you to listen to Rush for 30 days. I predict it'd be a real eye opener for your young mind.

Rush resigned. ESPN says it took appropriate action.

Now maybe I can get back to watching my Cubs try to make it to a World Series against the Red Sox.
