Public getting hold of equipment to change red traffic signals to green

I read about them yesterday in the paper. There's only a few states where they could actually be a problem, MD included. In Virginia, they use a radio type signal so infrared isn't a factor. Even if you had a radio siganaling device, the probability of finding the same frquency would be one in a million. As it is, most states can say they're illegal since it's already against the law to tamper with traffic signals anyyay.
Now, if they could just invent a device to fool toll booths into thinking you deposited change....

I was once sitting at a traffic light trying to make a right turn onto a very busy road...a large public bus pulled behind me, and then the light suddenly changed...I am guessin' these devices are bein' used lawfully by buses and maybe emergency workers...
