Motor Trend Car Show

I just went to the traveling Motor Trend car Show. Currently its at Harrisburg, PA.
I looked at cars from every manufacturer present, and nothing made my pulse race! There is a homogenized sameness to new cars; like they've all been refined to the point of removing all character. Even the Benzes look japanese. There are less national differences.
I'll keep the old 240D!

I agree.

To me, Detroit makes the best cars to gawk at: the Viper, the GT, the new mustang, the real Hummer, and the new vette. All have mucho character.

I don't even bother with MBZ anymore. The C coupe is for hairdressers, the C class is ackward and chintzy, the E looks like nothing really and the S looks like it melted in the sun. Even the new SL is ugly- a overly busy design with a lack of cohesion. The ML has Karl and Gottlieb rolling over in their graves.

I do hope Benz sells a ton of cars- gotta keep supporting the classics I run with parts.
