Masturbation Doesn't Increase Prostate Cancer Risk
The popular misconception that masturbation leads to prostate cancer has been disproved, (that it doesn't lead to blindness has long been disproved). New research shows that regular ejaculation may even decrease the risk for some men.
The Journal of the American Medical Association has published the research which was based on a survey of nearly 30,000 men. Men who reported frequent ejaculation, (either during sex or masturbation), had fewer cases of prostate cancer.
Frequent ejaculation is 4 to 7 times a month, and those who reported up to 21 times a month halved their risk of getting prostate cancer. The men had been asked about their habits at the ages of twenty, forty, and within the previous year.
