Shift knob Parts.

Hi i was looking into changing my shifter on my W126. i know how it is done but i need some info on aquiring some parts. I have heard it mentioned somewhere when i did a search, but i can't seem to find it anymore.

where can i find the shaft so i can add on (or screw on) other knobs for this model? i know a mercedes ones come with the knob stuck to the shaft, but i hear the shaft can be bought alone at a fairly heap price.
