I'm glad I've never had bad neighbours. Bad roomates yes, bad neighbours, nope. Well, for one night, the college age neighbours thought they could throw loud parties, but that was it.

Good thing it was just grass though

Was the grass on your car getting kinda long, so as to require mowing?

Sorry, just a play on words.

Seriously, the car cover thing isn't a bad idea...but it's not just idiot neighbors.

The company that does lawns in our neighborhood doesn't care where lawn refuse gets flung. So I get to come home to a driveway full of clippings and branches from the mowing and pruning done at my neighbor's house. My VW is also covered with organic material!

Not much I can do about it...I talked to the owner of the company, but with each new employee he gets, it starts over again...

So when I come home on Friday's, I just park the car in the garage, get out the leaf blower, and blow all of the crap back into my neighbor's yard...

Be glad it was only grass!

Three weeks ago my wife was driving up our street on her way to town. A neighbor and friend is cutting his grass next to the street. His Snapper slings gravel into the Regal's windshield, chipping it in six places. His insurance company called and said they would "come look at it" but so far they haven't.

lol...you guys have some nasty neighbours.

There is nothing worse than those types of suburban neighbours who spend their Saturdays at Home Depot centres buying 250 HP MegaSuperBoss Leaf Blowers and Twin-Turbo Diesel-powered Titanium blade lawn trimmers and other useless gadgets, and then spend their *early* Sunday mornings using them to clean their tiny 10x20' lawns! ARRRGH!

That would be everyone in Texas!!!

No one complains though...we ALL know that if you don't get the yard work done by about 9:30AM, the yard equipment will melt!!!

And so will you!:p

...I do love my 200 mph leaf blower...

nice neighbors

i'm parked on the street and the neighbor (unfriendly) decides to trim his juniper hedge - clippings of sticky juniper all over the car!!
melting and melding juniper oil in the summer noon heat all over the paint and windows...
nice guy..
oh and he sets his sprinkler which showers my patio just when i'm sitting down to the romantic candlelit dinner with the wifey..
that sure put a 'damper' on things that night - lol
