Well as long as we are pukin all over T's thread ... When grampa said that I noticed the gleam in his eye which I had recognized from at least 2 previous occasions. One, when he was drowning a trapped squirrel that had been messing with his pear trees, and another when I discovered a dusty old revolver in an old tool bin in the back of the workshop and asked what that was all about

my grandpa and gramma used to drive their 65 starchief to the clay county fair here in iowa.they had a mattress in the truck and they would sleep in the trunk.and i still have my dads 66 catalina 4dr with 8-lugs.

Maybe but that is actually not my engine but a tri power engine I pulled off the net. My car unfortunately will not have ac unless I install it.

that would be a 62 down engine with the generator.my dad back in the 70's bought another catalina with an underdash a/c unit,he sent it out and had it painted dash color so it kinda looks original.

I have an old Sears unit my dad used in three or four different cars back in the seventies and eighties. I might put that in.
