Hi,
I'm in the process of upgrading my exhaust system. My muffler/tips will be replaced with a Remus. In European magazine, many companies sell an aftermarket freer-flowing catalytic converter for VW's Audi's etc. Does anyone know where I can get one for a 1991 190E 2.6. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

You'd have to go custom pretty much. Find the inlet and outlet diameter of the stock cat and you can get a nice performance cat from Random technology or some company like that. http://mb190.tripod.com

What about center muffler?
I already have a remus rear muffler installed in my 1991 190e 2.6, and I love the way it sounds and looks. However, I was never able to find a preformance center muffler. I have found several oem type center mufflers available, but no performance ones. My original center muffler has about had it. If you come across any information about a good center muffler while you are looking for a good catalyst, please let me know. If I run across any good catalyst info, I'll do the same. Divide and conquer. Good luck. Wayne Reynolds
