Stroke M103 using M104 crankshaft?

I've been wondering if it would be possible to stroke the stock 3.0L (2962cc) M103 engine using a crankshaft from an M104 engine.
Using the 3.2L 84mm crank would give a displacement of 3101cc.
Using the 3.6L AMG 92.4mm crank would give a displacement of 3411cc.
Can someone tell me if this would be possible. Thanks.

Might want to also post this in the tech help section, as there are more viewers there.

Yes the bore spacing is the same so crankshafts can be swapped assuming a suitable rod/piston combo can be found. 6cyl diesel cranks can be swapped for as well! You can also use diesel parts for better oiling and for piston cooling. Mercedes 6's dont have a lot of meat for the bores so the best way to add displacement is with the longer stroke crank.

Another thing to consider is that it will have your old Mosselman twin turbo kit installed on it so I'd hate for something to break under all the pressure.
Given that I'd need to be changing conrods and/or pistons if I end up stroking the engine I'm thinking that I should probably drop the compression ratio from 9.2:1 while I'm at it. What would be the best combo to have while keeping the stock CIS system? 8.5CR & 9psi? (will be running on 98RON usually but may need to use 91RON in an emergency)
I currently get driven everywhere in my friend's Gen3 Toyota MR2 (0-100km/h in 5.2secs) so I'm addicted to boost now. In the short term I'm hoping to build a 300CE that can go 0-100km/h in 6 seconds or less.
Willy Mosselman's Silver Arrow 300CER has 340bhp and sprints to 100 in 5.9secs according to a magazine article I have. This would be the target I'm aiming for.
I've read that the twin turbo kit is good for 0-100 in 6.3 on a stock engine.
In future I could always ditch the CIS for an EFI system, turn up the boost and have something to compete with the MR2 but for now I'll try to stick to a budget.
