Um, that dosen't look like a 126 chassis to me... what did you stuff that into? A 123 it looks like or a 116.

Impressed! Can you give us the details on this set up? I'm sure the guys over at the benzworld w126 forum would like to hear about this, too!

Agreed, the picture looks like it has dual round headlights per W116, (never seebn in a W126), winshield wipers coming from the cowl a la W116 (W126 wipers would be hidden from view). Maybe, the engine is a 500 stuck into a W116?

It'd be awesome though, and not easy to accomplish. There had been some talk of putting a Mosselman turbo (Willi Mosselman in Holland) years ago in a W126 but I don't recall hearing of anyone who actually did it.

Looks nice but it looks like they stil use K-jetronic.
Aftermarket engine system would be to prefer.

I agree.
Looks real nice, but the K-jet needs a travel pass in a hurry.
At least if performance is what you´re after.

Another thingy.
Might wanna check those airfilters as well, cause they´re VERY small when the turbos start gasping for air and my bet is that you´re building a pressure drop.Big time.
On the other hand, you´ve got what seems to be a fairly thought trough design,and...well...check K&N or similar homepage out.

Hi Speedtek,
Long time no see! Please post some numbers for us when you get around to it. Very nice work!

As for the K-Jet, He's most likely using a couple of extra injectors for supplemental enrichment triggered by a pressure switch.

Its more than likely a 116 (notice the AC drier)

Is it intercooled?

yeah pretty sure its a 116 too. definilty the option for an intercooler since the pipes come up from underneath and out of sight.

Pretty cool!
I agree, it's a 116.. So perhaps a 450?? Or did you drop a 500 engine in there?

Where did you get your manifolds?

I'm trying to find the time to install the TT setup on my 560.. @ the moment I'm taking a crash course in Megasquirt II info/data as I'd like to have more precise tuneability when it's all said and done.

Would love to hear more details etc, etc!!!

It is a 450SEL with a Eurospec 5.0 in there with the eurospec K-jet. There is a 9th injector that handles the addtional fuel under boost. we are just using a hobbs switch, dropping resistor and EFI injector. The efi injector dumps 400cc of extra fuel under boost.

I agree a stand alone EFI would be better but I have so much experience with CIS that I thought it would save time to just leave it. Right now we are just testing it on the street. Putting CIS cars on the dyno is dangerous if the Air/Fuel is not close. just takes one lean run and the motor is toast.

Pic of the engine out of the car.

I did not choose the turbos nor any of the other parts. It was my friends plan so I let him do what he wanted and fixed whatever didnt work after.
It is fast enough for the owner so we left it as is. way more potential when he gets bored.
