c36 to wagon conversion
Ok im picking up a 1997 c36 motor that IS being parted out monday, im going to install c36 motor in my 1994 e320 wagon, can i use my ecu or should i get the 97 ecu , i noticed wiring is different between 95, 96 , 97?, do i have to use the c36 harness or can i adapt the 94 e320, i have first pick and wiring harness is available as are a new rear end,ECU, etc , any advise for me?

You can use your harness and ecu. You may have to swap some sensors from your old motor. Coolant, crank position, cam position. The 97 will have me2.0 and the ecu will not work in your car. You would need a 96 or earlier ecu.
