Actually,
We have talked with them a bit about various things and their feedback/customer support leaves some things lacking. Search through the threads on this forum regarding chip tuning of MB....they have left a bad taste in the mouth of more than one person. I have not ordered anything from them, just been slighly put off with their organizational skills, customer service/feedback, overall knowledge, etc.

You can go ahead and order a chip, then take your car to a dynojet. Get before and after readings.... If the numbers don't match the claims (don't be suprised if they don't) but then they owe you an explanation or refund. The few bucks you spend on the dyno session will certainly be money well spent in the long run. Either you will find out it works (great!) or the claims are a bit inflated. If you live in California beware the emissions test if your chipped... I am currently researching heavily to find "the" software tuner for MB. (like a Jim Conforti of BMW's) When I find that source, the Performance Paddock will be the first to know! Before I endorse any chip/chip tuner I will have to dyno and track test their stuff in addition to making sure it causes no nasty side effects. Actually, if everyone here were to email him or his company we might be able to persuede Conforti do get into MB. He already has hacked Bosch source code better than anyone. Since both MB and BMW's use Bosch extensively... Either email me with your interest in such a thing or email the following website. www.bonnevillemotorwerks.com/

I for one would stay away from Quickchips, I have not been impressed with there knowledge and certainly wouldn't trust them with my cars CPU. I have sent Jim Conforti (the BEST BMW tuner) an email about tuning my MB. I would suggest others do the same. If he gets enough emails maybe he will see the demand for MB tuning. His email address is: lndshrk@bonnevillemotorwerks.com
