Paid $1750

I paid $1750 for mine this summer. However, since the price of gas (and ironically, diesel) has skyrocketed, almost any Mercedes diesel that can still start is going for $2000 to $4500.

I look at how many sawbucks I have to put in per week for my commute. My 240D still is cheaper to run than my Suzuki Sidekick by a third. Fortunately I have no hills to climb.
