I know exactly what you are talking about..I had to replace my fuel lines from cloth to Rubber because they were leaking. The one directly from the tank is MB manufactured you have to order...

I had a similar problem and I was told that its the brown line that comes from the ignition that needs to be tight and dry. I changed my oil once and spilled oil from the filter canister down on it...

I Just Turned On The Hazard Switch And They Blinked Simultaneously.........turned Off The Hazards And They Work Now..........weird, Is That Normal Or Is There Still Major Problem?

shutoff valve

I took the first step in making sure the shutoff valve was secure. There seemed to be oil all inside the rubber connector and around the end of the brown hose with a blue line. I wiped and cleaned it...

stop lever

The car shuts off with the stop lever right away.
I pushed in and tightened all the hoses that I thought were relevant to the problem and all the doors lock and unlock now. Still doesn't shut off...

Oil Change

I changed the oil the day before all of this started happening and I just checked to see if maybe I had disconnected a hose when I was changing the oil filter canister but everthing looked intact....

Yes, When I lock the car all of the doors lock except front passenger, and the car does take some time to shift into drive and reverse. What do I need to do now.?

84 300TD won't shut off, Help?

Mercedes Benz 84 300TD

Has anybody heard of this? It just started today and it shuts off but after a really long rumbling. It seems to be getting worse. Any solutions? What would it cost?
