Just dont turn them too quick or you will losse stuff off the flight deck. Carriers are also very shallow, so they can go into most ports. My cousin took me on the Roosevelt it was pretty interesting.

Talking about using all the avalible land to produce oil, you can also use higher oil producing crops less land for the same amount of oil.
