1990 300D, I have a reoccurring problem. The high side AC Schrader valve keep leaking. I have replaced with OEM MB valve core & started leaking again. This has been done 3 times & always starts...

all fixed after replacing IP, yes the pump had bad delivery valves on # 5 & weak on others.
runs great now. lol, only spent approx $1,700 . worth doing as the car is very very clean. great daily...

i did not see any further comments on this issue. when you say delivery seals are you refering to the seals @ the IP that seal the fuel lines? my car has same issue, nailing @ idle, not smooth until...

i have the same problem, i looked & listened to many 602's on you tube and all sound the same " nailing on idle " .
i changed my injector nozzles "bosio " still same, did purge, still same, engine...

could somebody verify when the timing chain should be replaced on the 602 engine, i think some of my bad idle problems are from a worn chain or tensioner or both. there seems to be a clacking noise...

rear wheel bearing

I need to replace rear wheel bearing on my 1994 E320 wagon. Seem to be a long job useing benz special tools.
Can this be done at home with the use of regular pullers etc.
