I had an 09 gl320 Bluetec and it was one problem after another with sensors, AdBlue tank heater, air struts, suspension air pump. so I got rid of it as I was no longer able to support the vehicle...

im leaning toward cam chain tensioner. i replaced nozzles, cleaned and inspected prechambers, cleaned inspected delivery...

bubbles in the prefilter and assumption,all other components replaced, primer pump was leaking and rubber lines were old and brittle so all that was left on the suction side was the screen

all the others are nice and round but this one looks like someone filed it flat, weird but i wonder if this is a problem or just ignore it. i cleaned and reinstalled them all for now

trying to diagnose knocking on my 300d turbo and found a prechamber with a flat end and not sure if this would cause injector knocking, what do you think?

yeah its knocking, bought it this way so i changed the injectors and swapped them around also delivery valves cleaned, swapped around and even swapped one from another vehicle, vac pump removed and...

my 85 300d does not have the metal water pump bypass pipe. i thought all 617 engines had this. is mine missing/removed by someone or do some not have this? should i worry? car is not registered yet...

I had a 86 jetta turbo diesel with hard start issues

turns out that a seal on the front of the injection pump was bad allowing the pump to lose prime

a proper fix is of course change the seal...
