Correct, these are engine numbers. .. since these are late ones, I can probably just buy the whole engine but just use the head. My block was still in good shape.

Can someone tell me the Cylinder Head Bolt torque specs / sequence for my 1971 280SE. Its a M130 engine (straight six injected).

Should the bolts be torqued when the engine is hot / warm as well?

My concern is mostly fitment.

There is a lot of corrosion on the head around the # 5 valve area. I noticed that the cam towers were marked which tells me that there was some work done to the head. I have not confirmed thickness...
