Well 180 miles later and the noise is indeed...

Well 180 miles later and the noise is indeed gone! Did the torque procedure per MB and I am pretty sure it was just air in the system.

Yes I did fill the pre-filter before cranking. I will check the lines, now that I think about they may be crossed. I have a Mightyvac so I can try to suck fuel from the tank to from the pre-heater....
