Resolved issue after much effort... top ecu was...

Resolved issue after much effort... top ecu was bad. Although it threw a code 23 indicating that the issue was with the roll bar ecu it actually was the controller. BBA manufacturing get my thumbs...

OVP and roll bar switches ok.. I can get the bar...

OVP and roll bar switches ok.. I can get the bar to come up if I set them to test...and brake.

Have decided to hang onto the EBAY ecu as it does...

Have decided to hang onto the EBAY ecu as it does not throw any errors. Now am going to go step by step through the troubleshooting procedure outlined on the DVD.

couple changes I had to make to make it work...

couple changes I had to make to make it work actually in the door. The screw in the pics sticks out too far. I substituted a metal rod about 1/16" diameter glued into the whole left by the screw...

This is my first contribution to the forum since getting the SL a couple of months ago. Have multiple issues to deal with but one was the door lock problem. The penny fix inspired me to have a go...
