My mid-60s Euro w111 has no holes drilled for a chrome trunk handle. Did some cars come without such a handle? I can still lock and open the trunk w/o issue, just thought it was odd.

I had a similar overheating issue in my 4.5....
I had a similar overheating issue in my 4.5. Changed to the correct thermostat (4.5 should have a 75c thermostat per specs) and issue went away.
