schumi, I know you can pull a plastic ring with holes in it off the top of the stock speakers. Maybe that ring would work? If you even have the stocks, that is.

I can't help you with the rear speakers, but I am curious if you could maybe explain how the rainbows fit in the dash. I have an 87 300e, and when I bought it it already had different speakers...
