I covered my wifes food scale with plastic wrap...

worked for me
if you don't have one your way might work well enough.

OK, now it makes a lot more sense why you wanted the tubes.......they have it in big tubes not the mini tubes.
but still how you going to measure the grease? spec calls for 75 grams...per wheel,...

I paid around $5.00 for a 1 lb tub of fully synthetic grease (Valvolene) . If that is going to break your budget I suggest a monthy bus pass.
You can't grease the front bearings with a grease...

just get synthetic wheel bearing grease, weight it out and use the right quantities for each wheel.
