I'd probably move on to electric vehicles before...

I'd probably move on to electric vehicles before I did that much work for a mild performance/economy improvement in a diesel.

I have a feeling the end result won't result in a big enough improvement to have been worth the effort....Now if you were putting in an OM629 or OM656 to replace the OM642 THAT would be fun.
