Just a test to see if this works. BW "upgraded" to new software and lost some of our 107 SL DIYs and images. This may be a good place to post replacements/backups?

Using a hydraulic press might seem a bit more...

Using a hydraulic press might seem a bit more gentle, but actually it only took a few sharp taps with the hammer and it came apart. It had been soaked in carb cleaner.

Dismantling an Auxilliary Air Valve (AAV-part 2)

Here are the rest of the pics.

Thanks to Brad and Rowdie on BW on getting this to where we now know how to dismantle the valve. Next step, is how to adjust while it is apart!

Photos of Engine Compartment-107 350/450SL

What I would find useful for our 350SL (and our other cars), would be photographs of the engine compartment with the various gizmos identified. Even afer all teh years of ownership, I open the hood...
