Wrong vehicle:eek: I put the pyro post turbo on the mercedes and in the egr block off plate on my Scout! Sorry about the confusion. I just looked at the 617 and it probably would take an 8" probe....

I don't see how it would need to be 8" long. The whole thing is probably only 3" from one side to the other. But it is indeed a long adjustable one, I put the end in the center of the flow as per...

I know its probably not the 'best' location, but I put mine in my EGR block off plate. It sure was easy...
