i would not attach a tow bar to the bumper even...

i would not attach a tow bar to the bumper even to tow across town. when you turn it puts a lot of stress on the attachment points and it will either compress the bumper shocks or tend to pull them...

yes... i made a big flat 1/4" thick plate that...

yes... i made a big flat 1/4" thick plate that bolted across the two flanges with the bumper off and bolted the tow bar to that. it worked fine with a stick tranny in neutral. i have towed many...

first question, i think they are plenty strong. i have towed from them many times. you need to use all four bolts though to be strong enough.

i have never had good luck with tow dolleys.
