modulator on the tranny...the regulator on the IP...

modulator on the tranny...the regulator on the IP (mine alteast) ouputs 15" @ idle and goes down to 0 when throttle is opened. I wouldnt mess with it..old metal coils tend to break easily....

i tried this test with the modulator..i dont...

i tried this test with the modulator..i dont recall feeling anything distinct from it...all i heard was the mityvac leakin the out i will try again thou...thanks

eeek i know what u speak of...that stupid white valve on the IP...i tried that once..making it release more vac...(either because of old age or because of my manhandling it it broke and I had to fork...

i tried a little experiment..i unpluged the vac line 2 the tranny drove around and felt the shifts...they were all fairly hard..i believe this...

i think i put too much ATF in...i will drain off some--get the correctl level then try to muck with it..I had it set so there was no flarring but the shifts were extremely late (ie 3500rpms) i dont...

K1 installed. I have not noticed any improvements to my shifting dilema. 2-3 still flares 50-1000rpms. It shifts fine at full throttle. When at 1/4 or less to 1/2 it shifts 1-2 fine but 2-3 flares...
