No tach ha? Your idle sounds high. My guess from the sound of it around 800 to 900 rpm. Should be 650 to 700. A higher idle may mask a lumpy idle. Get yourself a photo-tach and set your idle speed....

I have a blue W123 , driver's side with 3 intact clips in exc cond if you need one. MB calls it rear pillar...

Did you use steam to remove the old tint? Did the ammonia work? The ammonia tip was was from a Madico tint rep who I bought the tint films from. Not sure if all tint film manufacturers use the same...

Did you swap regulator and motor from another door? Is there a trick getting it out? I recall having a lot of trouble with it.

I did some tinting years ago and seem to remember ammonia is the best solvent for the tint adhesive. Ammonia spray bottle + razor
