the hotter the oil the slower the mecha i think. so thou i always said that its better to turn the vvt off at 5500 it seems i stand corrected and mercs choice to turn it off at 4800 is more spot on....

u must use some bonding material caled kamalaka or whatever, its specialy used with copper hg. IIRC we placed alot of that...

regarding the head gasket well its a small dif IIRC on the front side of the engine near the chain there is some oil drain that might be slightly few mm off so all u need to do is drill the gasket...
