Well...

More like since fuel is getting spread around by the PC ball. before getting to the CC. a nailing DI fuel squirt can put a lot of HOT fuel in one spot on the piston and cause meltdown...

yeah, and also, DI has a better power curve.

due mostly to the fact that the combustion can expand directly onto the piston. with PC combustion must flow through the PC tube or whatever orifice it uses to pass into the CC.
I do like the piston...
