Hmmmmm.....

There are no obvious fuel leaks when the car is running, and the engine lube oil is not increasing...which would indicate a leak within the FIP, internally.....

Question 190D losing prime......

My W201, '84 190D 2.2......looses prime when I park, nose uphill, with less than 3/4 tank.....the PO had installed an electric fuel pump in line before the fuel filter, kinda just hosed in...
