SL Price Drop

The price for the 1995 500 SL dropped by about $10,000. It probably was a case of supply being greater than demand.I
think Dale is right that BMW and perhaps a few others might have also dropped...

The price for a new SL dropped significantly in 1995. I'm curious as to why this happened. Did Mercedes do anything to make the car less expensive, or did they just lower the price?
