I was able beat that C230 is because i did some modification on it and had a 20 MPH rolling start, but still i think it had to do with torque rather than horsepower.

C230 201 hp 181 lbft @ 2100...

Before entering into a 70 MPH highway there is traffic light, as i was approaching to the traffic light, (going about 20 MPH) light turns green, so i shifted to L floored my 300SD which kicked down...
