I start looking underneath for kinked hoses.
Any chance this would be related to me hooking up fuel lines backwards (is that possible)?

Open to any other ideas or experience to narrow this down?...

Is it normal for the fuel tank filler cap to be held VERY tightly by suction or negative pressure in the tank?
Every time I go to fill up, I have to seriously pull on that cap to crack the seal and...
