As for the one belt on the 240D NA , I guess they wanted us to have something to do maintenance on as well.
Other than oil changes and glow...

Any luck with the problem ?
Sounds more like the alternator than the belts. Mine where cracked and loose bouncing up and down and never squealed...

Found all my belts bad and the wrong pulley on the water pump. changed the pulley and wound up using a 10x1005 like Brian did. ( fingers crossed it still had over 1...
