Id pull both radiator hoses and the themostat, stuff a hose down the thermostat hole and let it go. If your getting good flow, stuff the hose...

A 2nd allen would help as would a 2x4 wedged into the block between the pulley and the block. Just be cautious to not bend the pulley.

If your system is air free, how about pulling the radiator and taking it to a radiator shop? Just might need a professional flushing.

Typically that a $30/40 job.
