How about this angle, how many hard driven but well maintained miles can one reasonably expect out of a 500E? Is this the car you own Lee? You mention overheating, is this a major cause of concern?...

I found and drove a 96 C36 this weekend, the car stole my heart. It is inconspicuous and blindingly fast. For the same money I have seen 92 500Es with 40k miles or so. I have never driven one though....
