I do curse a lot. The original problem was a thermostat housing bracket bolt then we dealt with that. Then the head to housing gasket was leaking and we replaced that, then it was still leaking.

I thought I posted an update to this situation and somehow it's not there. So many buttons to push, so little time.
Thermostat is in. Heat works, temp gauge works. About to have the second gasket...

So we re-drilled the hole with a 3/16 diameter...

Lots of penetrating oil has been used, vice grips...

Lots of penetrating oil has been used, vice grips etc..no room to drill.
Maybe take the radiator fan shroud off?

Stupid enough to think the thermostat would come out easily.

Gotta take the kid to school early and all the car parts stores are closed!
