Got it! Ok the problem was that the seal around...

Got it!
Ok the problem was that the seal around the wiper stem is amazingly tough stuff. I worked it with a pick and after a minute or two was able to lift it right out....

Trying to get the ..cowl gutter(?) off of the 83 td I swear I've undone every fastener, but it's acting like it's still connected. Pics Below.
took the nut (13mm) and the wiper arm off...
