Thanks, probably good advice. I'm still debating what to do with this car. I've been offered 500 bucks for it. It may be time to cut and run, I just hate to admit defeat.

Labor cost on engine replacement?

In looking at my options, does any one have any experience with the labor cost on an engine swap in the 79 300 TD?

I have one quote @ $1,000, which I thought was high, but....
