Glow Plug Life Expediency (Pencil Style)

As part of preventative maintenance, all 5 glow plugs in my 91 300D were replaced (at the same time) in 2012 with new Bosch glow plugs.

55,023 miles, 5 years & 4 months later - 3 of the 5 glow...

ALDA Rebuild Kit - Parts?

After chasing a leak on my 91 300D (OM 602) the cause turned out to be the ALDA. After removing and disassembling it's clear that the seal in the threaded base is leaking.

My unit is the same...

After many cleanings I'm confident the leak is above the turbo housing. Not saying there is a crack in the oil feed line or the casting on the end of that line. Just considering possible causes.......
