Talking 333,333 miles!!

I did it! I got the picture of my odometer at 333,333 miles! I thought for sure I'd forget about it until the moment it rolled over to 333,334! Luckily I was driving with a friend yesterday and told him right away what Iwanted to do, so he kept looking over and helping me to keep an eye on it. (We were on the hiway between Wenatchee and Chelan, for those of you familiar with the area). He looked at the odometer when we got in, and he said "I bet it'll roll over when we're in the tunnel up Entait hill, which was a good 20 or so miles away. He was right on the money! It clicked 333,333 just the moment before we came through the other side, so I was able to pull over and take the picture. (I just wished I had reset my trip odometer at the right time so it would have read 333.3 miles too!)

May I be the first to offer you congratulations! I just rolled 250K yesterday evening with my '83 300SD (original engine and tranny). Can't wait for 350K, 450K, 550K, etc........

LOVE the car to death!

Congratulations on hitting 333,333 miles, especially in the tunnel. I always hold my breath when I go through that tunnel, mostly because that one has a nasty smell . This weekend was a nice sunny weekend for you to be in Chelan, and have your car hit 333,333 miles.

Congrats on the milestone (no pun intended)!

By comparison, my car's a baby...it's at 235K right now...

And my mom thought I was nuts for getting a) an old car and b) a Mercedes-Benz...

rickg- Congrats!! My car is a baby, considering my car hasn't even seen 100,000. The only good part about this is that I can keep it for the rest of my life and put all the milestones on it myself.

cool.

I missed 333,333 (the camera was in the glove box for the event, but I forgot). I even zero'd out the trip odometer so that it would be 333.3

Guess I need to wait for 444,444.

I'll take a picture of 350,000 which should happen by the end of next week.

You don't need to go to the dealer, just call 800 FOR MERC and ask for a high mileage award application form. Then fill it out and send it in.

BTW, there is no 750,000 KM badge, only 250K, 500K and one million.

Good luck,
