That is correct, the new W164 chassis service manual is available.

W164 goes back to MY 2001? That's what the copy says on page 2; although page 1 states 2006-2007..

Too bad they didn't wait so that it would cover the ML320 CDI, too.

(I hope the info on that DVD is better than the copy of the StarTek Bulletin!)

I just received my copy of this DVD. There is a wealth of information contained on it; and it is well worth the price.

It is too bad that they didn't include the ML320 CDI; but for everything other than the engine, it's very useful!

Why do you ask the same question twice in the same forum? I saw you did it on the other forum, too; and in the ML - not the dedicated GL - Class Forum to boot. It sort of takes the incentive away from anyone wanting to be helpful.

the page shows that the DVD covers the W164 from 2005-2007? will it include the CDI engine?

No, but the R251 DVD does.

Yes, & those engines are "slightly" different from the E320D.
Cars have slightly different regulations than "light trucks".

I have a 2007 ML320CDI and have both DVD's - one for the truck and one for the engine. It's a shame that MBUSA didn't include the OM642 engine on the W164 DVD

I asked my "service advisor" the question about access (sorry, I don't have the CD) and was told the cabin air filter is behind the glove box, is an electrostatic filter, and isn't too hard to clean. I haven't actually done it yet!
